Who we are

What we collect

When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, website and the details of your enquiry. We also record the time of submission and your IP address, which helps us identify automated spam.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Analytics data is collected in aggregate and IP addresses are anonymised.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, namely responding to someone who has contacted us asking for a reply.
  • To prevent spam and abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in keeping our systems usable.
  • To understand site usage. Lawful basis: consent, given through the analytics cookie.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are delivered by SMTP2GO, our email delivery provider, and arrive in our own email system. Analytics data is processed by Google. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are retained for up to 24 months so we can refer back to previous conversations, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
